Building Faith and Brotherhood

HISmen is a ministry of encouragement and connection for men and
boys based out of Dayspring Church.

The purpose of HISmen is to serve men by encouraging them, challenging them to go further, equipping and training them to excel, resourcing them, and providing opportunity for practical adventure and experience.

"HIS" stands for Honour, Integrity, Spirit. Three essential ingredients in a healthy man's makeup.

The HISmen Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for equipping, fellowship, prayer and ministry. We welcome men of all ages, from boys to men aged 100+.

We have been meeting together since 2008. It is a strong band of brothers that welcomes all men who are interested in experiencing great fellowship and encouragement. Come on the adventure with us!

Adventure, with all its requisite danger and wildness, is a deeply spiritual longing written into the soul of man. It’s the thing your heart craves, it's part of your calling from God. We were created to live fully delighting in and trusting God. As John Eldredge puts it "He (God) rigged the world in such a way that it only works when we embrace risk as the theme of our lives, only when we live by faith. A man just won't be happy until he's got adventure in his work, in his love, and in his spiritual life, because life is not a problem to be solved but an adventure to be lived!"

HISmen AM

This is a Dayspring Connect Group for men. It has been meeting since 2008 and new members are always welcome, even just to visit. We meet at Dayspring in the Theatre on Wednesday mornings at 6.30am. We meet for worship, prayer and fellowship, to build our community of men. At 8.00am we share a coffee and/or breakfast over the road at Beanmeister Cafe. Feel free to arrive and depart at the times you need to. This runs all throughout the year except during January and July.

HISmen Saturdays

This group meets together for breakfast on Saturday mornings at 9:00am every 6 weeks at various cafes around the Hills District.

This group is open for all the men at Dayspring Church to meet up, connect and encourage each other and meet new people.

Welcome to Dayspring Church’s 15th annual HISmen Getaway! It’s our third and final time at the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort at Bateau Bay, so don’t miss this one! All men and boys (minimum age 6 years old and supervised by parent or guardian) from Dayspring Church and their guests are welcome.  

This year’s Getaway includes an adventure challenge at Raw Challenge - see www.rawchallenge.com.au Do you dare participate? Rest assured, there is the option of “observing” (with coffee!)
Program for the full weekend, with guest speakers, will be released soon.

All attendees must be registered:-
One name per Registration Form
Parents or Guardian must also register their children (or children they are supervising) individually

Registration Form below, includes two attendance options:-
A) Invitation to Saturday’s open event, the “Dayspring Raw Challenge” ONLY - including entry and light lunch
OR
B) Persons attending the entire weekend (or those coming to the Dayspring Raw Challenge then continuing onto the HISmen Getaway at Bateau Bay) - please complete the HISmen Getaway Registration which includes the Raw Challenge, Getaway accommodation, meals, shared accommodation or part attendance fees.

All Sites and cabins are booked through Dayspring Church.
Cabin beds and powered sites will be allocated by Dayspring.
