Are you a creative visionary who is passionate about hosting the Presence of God and seeing the church formed into mature disciples? We’re looking for a Worship Pastor to join the Dayspring team—someone who loves Jesus deeply and is ready to grow our community in both musical and spiritual maturity.
About the Role: The Worship Pastor is a devoted follower of Jesus who, with sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, leads teams and creates systems that facilitate powerful encounters with God. A central focus of this role is developing people—mentoring leaders, nurturing emerging gifts, and creating pathways for growth in musical skill, ministry depth, and leadership capacity.
- Worship Leadership: Consistently leading Spirit-led worship in all settings, drawing the congregation into powerful encounters with God.
- Team Leadership & Development: Championing the growth of the Worship, AV, and TV teams by mentoring leaders, identifying emerging gifts, and creating opportunities for growth in both musical ability and leadership capacity.
- Culture Building & Discipleship: Cultivating a ministry community where people are formed into faithful disciples of Jesus—leaders who are attentive to the Holy Spirit and continually growing in their gifts.
- Collaboration & Vision Casting: Partnering with the Senior Team to bring the church's vision to fruition while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with staff, volunteers, and the wider church family.
- Ministry Administration: Managing the logistical needs of the worship department, multitasking across multiple projects, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
- A devoted follower of Jesus Christ demonstrating a stable, mature faith and a lifestyle befitting a church leader.
- Someone with experience leading, motivating, and training people (tertiary qualifications in Theology or Christian Ministry are highly desirable).
- An experienced musician with strong instrumental and vocal skills.
- An authentic, flexible team player who takes initiative, works well under pressure, and brings a great sense of humour to the team!
Are you passionate about the younger generations and seeing children united, set free, and living a life founded on Jesus? We’re looking for a Kids Church Coordinator / DSKids Assistant to join the Dayspring team, someone who loves Jesus deeply and is ready to empower the next generation to grow into all that God created them to be.
About the Role: The Kids Church Coordinator works alongside the Kids Church Pastor to help lead and support the running and development of the Kids Ministry of Dayspring Church. In this salaried part-time position, you will serve as a leader, role model, encourager, and advocate for children (ages 0-13) and youth. A central focus of this role is fostering a vibrant ministry environment, tracking community engagement trends, and utilising inspiring communication to unite and excite the wider Dayspring family.
- Kids Church Leadership: Directing a vibrant, high-energy kids program during church services, maintaining order and physical, emotional, and spiritual safety, while ensuring excellent Sunday room operations.
- Team Leadership & Development: Championing the growth of DSKids teams by recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and developing junior leaders while cultivating a supportive and spiritually unified volunteer culture.
- Culture Building & Discipleship: Cultivating a ministry community where children are formed into faithful disciples, teaching Christian discipleship and empowering kids to practice and grow in the gifts of the Spirit safely.
- Collaboration & Vision Casting: Partnering with the Kids Lead Pastor and Senior Leaders to support the church's vision, coordinate special outreach events, and foster strong, intergenerational relationships across the community.
- Ministry Administration: Managing the logistical and administrative needs of the department, including tracking attendance trends, preparing weekly curriculum materials, updating the Planning Center database, and managing budgets efficiently.
- A devoted follower of Jesus Christ demonstrating a stable, mature faith and a lifestyle befitting a church leader.
- Someone with experience leading, motivating, training, and encouraging young people and volunteers (tertiary qualifications in Theology or Christian Ministry are highly desirable) .
- An excellent communicator with strong writing, editing, and journalistic skills to share news in catching, creative ways.
- An authentic, flexible team player who takes initiative, works well under pressure across multiple projects, and brings a great sense of humour to the team!
